How Do Credits Get Used in Odapt?
Credits in Odapt are used based on the complexity of the task you ask Odapt to perform. The more difficult the request, the more credits it consumes.
• Small tasks use minimal credits → Example: Adding a button to a webpage.
• Larger tasks require more credits → Example: Creating a dashboard with multiple graphs or generating complex layouts.
There isn’t an exact credit-to-task conversion, but in general, simple edits cost less, while complex builds take more.
How Do Credits Work for Public Apps?
If you publish an app and make it public, you will be responsible for the credits used by visitors interacting with your app.
If your app uses integrations (e.g., Firecrawl, Replicate), each one has its own cost based on its server usage.
Every time someone visits your app and triggers an integration, you are charged credits—even if it’s other Odapt users interacting with your public app.
For example:
If your app includes Firecrawl for web scraping, and visitors search for content, Odapt will deduct credits from your account based on the number of searches.
If your app uses Replicate to generate AI images, each user-generated image will consume credits from your balance.
Credit Limits and Cost Control
Odapt ensures you will never be charged beyond your available credit balance.
If your credit balance runs out, the app will stop performing integration-based actions until you add more credits.
This setup allows you to control costs and decide whether to charge your users for access, ensuring full transparency in your app’s expenses.
⚠️ Important Note: When you make an app public, you are responsible for the credit usage of all users who interact with it. Be mindful of which integrations you enable and plan accordingly.
